Plane: B737-800.
Status: AAdvantage Gold.
Seat: First class. No upgrade.
Perks: Priority check-in with First class ticket. Priority baggage with First class ticket.
Security: TSA Pre-check used to get through security. CLEAR was not available at the terminal I checked in at.
Terminal D:
Capital One Lounge – I tried to make my way over to the lounge but there were two very nice attendants turning people away/adding names to a wait list as the lounge was at capacity.
American Express Centurion Lounge – I made my way over to the Centurion Lounge to grab a bite to eat. The lounge was crowded but I managed to get in and find a spot to sit and eat. I feel that AMEX does a great job with their food offerings and today was no exception.
Admirals Club – I stopped by just to see if I could get in or if there was a wait. I’ve actually never experienced overcrowding at an Admirals club and that held true today as well. I was able to get in and walk around. Plenty of space. I didn’t eat anything as to just finishing a meal at the Centurion Lounge.
Club at DFW – did not go on this trip but it is in this terminal.
Terminal C:
Admirals Club – I made my way over and waited out my flight time. The lounge is massive and had plenty of room. No issues with overcrowding at all. Very relaxing and peaceful until flight time.
Flight: Great flight. Comfy and spacious First class seats. No inflight entertainment. Crew was friendly and professional. Only light snacks were provided.
Comments: I’ll start by saying DFW is one of my favorite airports to fly through. I particularly like Terminal D and will spend most of my time there regardless of which terminal I’m flying from (Terminal C today). I particularly like that multiple terminals are available airside. No need to go through security a second time.
