American: CVG – DCA – VPS

Planes: CRJ900/CRJ900.

Status: None.

Seats: Main Cabin Extra ( entire Row 8). The seats were actually a lot more comfortable than we had thought they would be. It helped that we had all 4 seats in Row 8. Would definitely choose these seats again if on a CRJ900.

Check-in: Priority check-in with CITI AA EXEC Mastercard.

Security: We only used TSA-PreCheck as not everyone in our group had CLEAR.

CVG: We had an early morning 7:30 am flight. The airport was PACKED with Spring Breakers like ourselves. Thank goodness for Priority Check-in that comes with the CITI AA Executive Mastercard + TSA PreCheck. We were able to check our bags, check-in, and get through security pretty quickly. It’s little things like this that travelling a bit easier and less stressful.

DCA: This was our first time flying through Ronald Reagan Washington National Airport – which we didn’t see much of as our arrival gate was pretty much right across from the Admirals Club in Concourse E.

The Concourse E Admirals Club is pretty new and has a very nice upscale feel to it. It’s incredibly spacious, clean, and offered plenty of food and beverages. One of the nicest domestic lounges we’ve been to. Can’t wait for the American to refresh their Admirals Clubs in DFW!

VPS: This was our first time flying into Destin-Fort Walton Beach Airport. It’s pretty small but very cool as it shares space with Eglin Air Force Base! We saw fighter jets on the runway as we taxied to our arrival gate.

Flights: Both flight segments were great. Not very turbulent. Normal drink/snack services. Both crews were very friendly, professional, and attentive. Could not have gone any better.
